BAHRU STAINLESS SDN BHD is a JV between ACERINOX S.A. (A Spanish Stainless Steel Manufacturing Group – World major producer of Stainless Steel) & NISSHIN STEEL. It is located at Tanjung Langsat (Pasir Gudang), Johor (appro. 140 Ha @ 350 acres of land). This new stainless production plant will be constructed with high efficiency criteria, similar to those of North American Stainless in Ghent (Kentucky – USA), owned by ACERINOX Group. The new plant will be constructed in successive stages and in the last one it will be an integrated stainless steel production plant, with a melting capacity of 1 million MT/ year and 600,000 MT/ year of cold rolled production.   • 4-6 years experience in a mechanical trade – machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, etc. or equivilent combination of education and experience (including program/project management, preferably in support of a high technology manufacturing environment, with significant exposure to Purchasing contracts and supplier negotiations)
  • Posses core competency in the multiple aspects of the commodity (e.g. Machining, Sheet Metal, Precision Frame Weldments, Fixturing, Tooling, Secodary Metal Processing – Powdercoating, Zinc Plating, Anodization, Electropolishing, etc.) and progressive Quality Management Practice

Scope

Work scope: Design, oversee, coordinate all mechanical work, related to given projects for Asia Pacific.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  6. Analyzes operational and maintenance data to propose upgrades that will improve reliable and economic operation.
  7. Create, compose, and edit technical and/or administrative correspondence, reports, and documentation (mechanical drawings).
  8. Update Project manager/Director on ongoing project status, schedule, budgets & expenditures through weekly & monthly reports, by monitoring all work being performed by contractors and plant employees within area of responsibility.
  9. Follows and promotes continuous improvement of divisional performance, and of safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  10. Works with operations/maintenance personnel to achieve timely and efficient shut down schedules; provides opportunities for training on routine preventive maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • Possess an Engineering degree, ideally majoring in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years working experience in a similar capacity as a Process Engineer in Food/pharma/FMCG Manufacturing environment
  • Familiar with SPC, 7-QC tools, Six Sigma, DMAIC and/or Kaizen
  • Must have root cause analysis skills and problem-solving skills
  • Must have hands-on working experience in process control, process optimization
  • Must be a strong team player, with leadership ability to lead and focus on daily results
  • Short term relocation & frequent travel to sites in the region required.

 Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve existing sales, develop new customers and market opportunities.
  • Promote, present and sell company products and services for existing and potential customers.

  • To work closely with Sales Manager / Branch Manager to ensure maximum performance and achievement of sales target.

Requirements:

Job Responsibility

  1. Maintain all Switching elements and services to ascertain smooth and seamless inter-working with other network elements, satisfying customers’ needs in terms of service integrity, reliability, quality and timeliness in the most cost effective way.
  2. Maintain Switching network elements and services to ensure high quality performance to meet customer requirement.
  3. Ensure execution of Switching preventive maintenance according to Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly requirement as stipulated in quality Management system procedures.
  4. Ensure fault restoration to the switching network elements is carried out in an effective manner in order to achieve high customers satisfaction.
  5. Resolve all customer complaints in relations with switching elements in timely manner.
  6. Control, execute and complete task of new, additional or closing of circuit advice according to NIS work order.
  7. Ensure all power related issues (PRI), such as Earthing, air-conditioning, Fire Prevention, Batteries, Rectifiers and AC systems are installed and maintained according to the specification.
  8. Ensure the new projects are acceptance, commissioned and handover for operation according to the specification with proper documentation.

 Job Requirement

  1. SPM or certificate In Engineering or Telecommunication Or Equivalent with Technical Experience.
  2. Credit in Bahasa Malaysia at SPM level.
